SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program description
Shiftomator is a private scheduling tool used by work groups to take turns choosing on-call and vacation days. If you opt in, Shiftomator sends you transactional text-message alerts about your own scheduling turns — for example, “it’s your turn to choose a day,” a reminder before your turn window closes, and a notice if your turn was skipped. These are operational messages, not promotions.
2. How you opt in
Texts are strictly opt-in. Inside the app, on the “Alerts for me” card, you enter your mobile number and check a box consenting to receive these alerts. We store your number only after that explicit consent. We never add a number without the account holder opting in.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on how often your scheduling group is active and how often it is your turn. In a typical month this is a small number of messages (often only a few). There is no fixed recurring schedule.
4. Cost
Shiftomator does not charge for text alerts. However, message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier depending on your plan. Shiftomator is not responsible for carrier charges.
5. Opting out
You can stop texts at any time:
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts.
- Or open Shiftomator, go to “Alerts for me,” and tap Opt out to remove your number.
After opting out, you can opt back in at any time by re-entering your number and consenting again.
6. Getting help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact your group’s administrator. For account questions you can also reach us at nlkushner@gmail.com.
7. Supported carriers
Alerts are supported on major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your mobile number is used only to deliver the scheduling alerts described above. We do not sell, rent, or share it for marketing, and we do not share it with third parties except the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
